Such a cute a cosy cafe! The date and orange scone was so good I still think about it

Excellent service and very clean. A Japanese owner giving off a very Japanese style. However, the menu is limited providing light meals like sandwiches, toast, cookies and scones. The only hot meal is soup of the day, creamy corn soup which was very creamy and had little corn. Taste and drinks are average. Price is not cheap.

A cozy and stylish cafe where you can relax and unwind.Their Flat White and Latte are simply divine! Every single item on the menu, from their homemade sweets to their corn soup and sandwiches, is incredibly delicious. I particularly recommend their sweets made with Japanese tea, offering a unique flavour you won't find anywhere else. The warm and heartfelt service from the staff is also a highlight of this cafe. Not only is the atmosphere cozy, but the food, drinks, and service are all top-notch.

Can’t say anything negative about Steam Wand. It has earned every single 5 star review it’s received. Fresh cookies that are light and melt in your mouth, beautifully smooth and balanced coffee, and wonderful decor (including two books on the art of fantastic beasts). There is a toilet out the back, and a wonderful staircase that isn’t functional but is gorgeous. It’s a small cafe, but it doesn’t feel squashed. Lovely staff, Miho makes great coffee. This used to be a pharmacy/kodak store and there’s a really cool slot on the door that says films/prescriptions.

Small cafe with a great selection of small bites in the cabinet. They have a bunch of cookie flavours (the steam wand one is the best), some gluten free choices and a sweet and savoury scone option. The coffee was excellent and the atmosphere quiet and relaxing

Stopped into this cute little coffee house to wait for a friend who was at the dentist nearby. Host was gracious and delightful. Homemade cookies a speciality so I just had to try one and plumped for the dark chocolate and walnut cookie to accompany my long black coffee. Coffee was well prepared and served with a little jug of hot water as it's the custom here in New Zealand. Very quiet atmosphere, a few locals chatting over a coffee is all. Recommended for a waiting spot for any of the many medical and dentists surgeries in the area.
